The University of Maine gave up three power-play goals and lost to Quinnipiac 4-0 on Saturday afternoon in Hamden, Connecticut.
The Black Bears were whistled for nine penalties, include two game-misconducts and fall to 2-1-1. Jaden Lipinski (kneeing) and Bodie Nobes (roughing) were both assessed game misconducts.
The Wildcats improve to 3-1-1.
Quinnipiac took a 1-0 lead in the first period when William Gilson scored on the power-play at 10:23 of the first period.
Mason Marcellus made it 2-0 in the second period, then Jeremy Wilmer and Ethan Wyttenbach scored power-play goals in the third for Quinnipiac.
Mathis Rousseau had 29 saves for Maine, while Matej Marinov made 19 saves for Quinnipiac.
