President Trump’s U.S. Border Patrol commander in Chicago, Gregory Bovino, has stated that lakes and rivers are borders by U.S. law. The U.S. Border Patrol has the legal right to operate within 100 miles of our borders.
Lake Michigan is surrounded by four states: Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Lake Michigan is connected to Lake Huron. As Commander Bovino has stated, he has the legal right to operate in Chicago, which can mean only one thing: that President Trump, in his negotiations with Canadian Prime Minister Carney, has given Lake Michigan to Canada. Without that concession by President Trump, the closest Chicago is to the legally recognized previous border with Canada was almost 300 miles.
I wonder when Prime Minister Mark Carney will rename Lake Michigan to Lake Canada?
