Police are looking for a missing Holden teenager reported missing earlier this week whose cellphone was last located in the Portland area.
Mary Hembree, 17, who also goes by the name Oli, was reported missing Sunday, the Holden Police Department said in a social media post Thursday.
Hembree was supposed to be spending the night with friends in Brewer, the department said, but failed to return home.
Hembree’s cellphone was last “pinged” in the Portland area on Sunday morning, Holden police Lt. Chad Foley said, but it has since been turned off.
Hembree’s parents believe the teenager may be traveling to Massachusetts to meet a boyfriend, police said.
Anyone with information on Hembree’s whereabouts is asked to call Holden police at 207-843-5442.
