I am disappointed in Sen. King’s support to reopen the government without securing subsidies for our citizens relying on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) for their health insurance.
I feel betrayed by Sen. King’s unwillingness to hold the line against Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans who want to destroy the ACA as a viable health insurance program. Our history has shown that it takes courage and commitment to stand up to bullies. So many Americans have sacrificed and stood together in the effort to secure affordable heath insurance.
I am so disappointed that Sen. King caved on this issue. What has he accomplished with his “vote”?
