Our goal this next year is to replace Susan Collins with a capable person who can make a difference ASAP. Looking for a principled, well-qualified, experienced candidate with good name recognition, Sen. Schumer contacted Gov. Mills. Of course.
Disparaging her candidacy based on her age is not fair. Age is an aspect of life we/she have no control over. We all age differently. She has aged well, staying super sharp and showing courage.
Graham Platner should show us he supports the goal and switch to being a Mills supporter. He could be the pipeline between his enthusiastic followers and achieving the goal.
Platner could also show us he cares most about our people and our country by donating, as much as possible, his campaign funds to Preble Street, Maine Homeless Veterans Alliance and the Good Shepherd Food Bank.
I greatly thank Platner for his service to our country and hope to support him in the future.
Let’s all keep the goal in sight. Support Gov. Janet Mills for U.S. Senate.
