WINSLOW – Pauline Faye (Reynolds) Leach, 73, of Winslow, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 6, 1952, at her parents’ home in Winslow, Pauline was “number nine” of 15 children of Sanford Reynolds Sr. and Shirley (Stevens) Reynolds.

Pauline was known for her kindness, generosity, sense of humor, beautiful singing voice, and tireless work ethic. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her love of the woods surrounding her home in Winslow, and for “Polly’s biscuits” – a recipe many attempted, but none could duplicate.

She is survived by her devoted son, Nathan Leach and wife Meribeth of Gorham; grandchildren, Thomas Leach and Shelby Leach both of Gorham; her best friend and business partner, Michael Shuckrow of Winslow; sister, Marilynn Reynolds of Vassalboro, sister, Esther Cayouette and husband Roland of Winslow, brother, Bruce Reynolds of Winslow, brother, Geoffrey Reynolds and wife Catherine of Norridgewock, brother, Nelson Reynolds of Winslow, brother, Timothy Reynolds of Winslow, brother, Peter Reynolds of Winslow, sister, Effie Reynolds of Vassalboro; and many nieces, nephews; and other extended family.

A private funeral will be held at the North Vassalboro Baptist Church on Nov. 22, at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will occur at a later date. Her ashes will be placed in the woods near her home in Winslow, in accordance with her wishes.
