Natalie Barnouw scored on a penalty kick in the 25th minute as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology defeated Colby 1-0 in an NCAA Division III women’s soccer second-round game Sunday in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Colby, which defeated Montclair State 2-0 in the first round Saturday, ends its season 11-5-3.

MIT (22-2-1) held advantages in shots on goal (5-4) and corner kicks (5-3).
