Noah Allen, Greely: Rushed for 144 yards and three scores on only seven carries, setting the tone by running 50 yards untouched for a touchdown on the first handoff of the game in the Rangers’ 48-22 Class C semifinal victory over Wells.
Connor Ayoob, Thornton Academy: Ran for three touchdowns and 11 first downs while gaining 265 yards on 35 carries, and threw a 5-yard touchdown pass in the Golden Trojans’ 40-28 win over Bonny Eagle in the Class A South title game.
Mason Henderson, Leavitt: Scored four touchdowns for the Hornets in their 47-14 Class C semifinal win over Hermon. Henderson carried five times for 127 yards and three scores, and caught two passes for 57 yards, including a 31-yard TD reception.
Hassan Hobbi, Winslow: Led the Black Raiders’ rushing attack with 160 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries in a 42-14 Class D North championship victory over John Bapst.
Cordell Jones, Portland: Took over in the second half with three rushing touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 30-22 victory over Bangor in the Class A North final. Jones finished with 128 yards rushing on 21 carries, a 34-yard TD pass, as well as two interceptions.
Parker Morin, Cony: Completed 15 of 20 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for two more scores in the Rams’ 40-7 Class B North championship win over Fryeburg Academy.
Lucas Pelkey, Stearns: Helped the Minutemen claim the eight-man Small School state championship by running for 96 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and intercepting a pass in Stearns’ 20-18 victory over Old Orchard Beach.
Ben Porter, Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale: Caught two passes for 61 yards, including a 27-yard touchdown for the game’s first score, and made a pair of interceptions as the Ramblers beat Morse 39-8 in the Class D South final.
Hollis Schwalm, Camden Hills: Led the Windjammers to their first state championship, completing 10 of 12 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown, and running for 171 yards and three scores (including a 67-yard scramble) in the eighth-man Large School title game against Spruce Mountain.
Gio Staples, Westbrook: Completed 9 of 17 passes for 135 yards and two scores, and rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns as the Blue Blazes beat Kennebunk 34-27 in the Class B final to earn the first regional title in program history.
