Adrianna Smith recorded her first career triple-double, leading Maine to a 69-46 win over St. Francis in the consolation round of the Iona Turkey Tip-Off women’s basketball tournament Saturday in New Rochelle, New York.
Smith was the game’s top scorer with 19 points, and added 13 rebounds, 10 assists and four blocked shots.
Kaliyah Sain chipped in with 12 points, and Sarah Talon of Windham and Asta Blauenfeldt each tallied 10 points. Talon made 5 of 6 shots as the Black Bears (2-5) shot 50 percent as a team (28 of 56).
