Xander Lamppa, Caden Villegas and Jacob Hudson scored in the second period and Brad Arvanitis set a franchise goaltending record with his 33rd career win as the Maine Mariners earned a third straight victory over Norfolk, beating the Admirals 4-1 in an ECHL game Saturday night in Norfolk, Virginia.
Jaxon Bellamy clinched the win with an empty-net goal.
Arvanitis made 25 saves. He lost his shutout bid with Norfolk’s Jaydon Dureau scored with 4:33 remaining.
