The Adirondack Thunder scored three goals in the second period and beat the Maine Mariners 4-1 in an ECHL game Friday in Portland.
Maine took a 1-0 lead in the first period when Nick Anderson scored his first professional goal, with assists from Sebastian Vidmar and Tristan Thompson.
Brannon McManus tied it early in the second period and Tanner Edwards gave the Thunder the lead 1:31 later. Tyson Fawcett added goals in the second and third periods.
Luke Cavallin stopped 25 shots for Maine, while Jeremy Brodeur stopped 27 shots for Adirondack.
