Terry Lee White
WEST GARDINER – Terry Lee White, 69, passed away unexpectedly at his home in West Gardiner on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026.
Terry was born on July 31, 1956, in Skowhegan Maine, to George and Janice White. He graduated from Skowhegan High School in 1974. Terry then went on to Maine Maritime Academy and graduated with a master’s degree in engineering in 1979. After shipping for a few years, Terry went to work at Maine Yankee Nuclear Power Plant until it closed. Terry then traveled to several power plants as a procedure writer.
He was predeceased by his father George White, and mother Janice (Dunlap) White.
Terry is survived by his wife Teresa White; five sons Daniel White, Jonathan White, Chad McKenna, Shawn McKenna, Donald Austin; two brothers Richard and David White; sister Linda Babcock; several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Terry was a man of few words, but his expressions said it all. Terry loved to travel and enjoy life.
A celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
Arrangements and guidance are in the care of Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
