Constance M. A. Bossie
AUGUSTA – Constance M. A. Bossie, 88, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026 at the MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center at Glenridge following a brief illness. She was born in Augusta on Dec. 15, 1937 a daughter of the late Florian O. and Marie Anne (Sirois) LeBlanc.
Mrs. Bossie attended Augusta schools and was a communicant of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She had been employed for many years by Hannaford in their deli department.
Mrs. Bossie was predeceased by her husband, Richard W. Bossie; a son, Kenneth Bossie; and a sister, Gloria L. Dubord.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara-Jean M. Dostie and her husband Gregory of Sidney and Cynthia A. Sproul and her husband Stanley of Whitefield, two sons, Michael J. Bossie of Liberty and Norman P. Bossie and his wife Nancy of Chelsea; a sister, Lorette Fournier of Mt. Vernon; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Bossie of Whitefield; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews; and cousins.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta.
