Four players who have led their teams to Maine high school championship games are among the six total finalists for the Mr. and Miss Maine Basketball awards that were announced Monday.

Nolan Ames of Camden Hills will play in the Class A final on Saturday against Portland. Other finalists for Mr. Maine Basketball are Tyrie James of Windham, and Akol Maiwen of Edward Little.

All three finalists for Miss Maine Basketball have a chance to be champions. They are Kylie Lamson of Cheverus (Class A), Maddie Provost of Lawrence (Class B) and Addison Cyr of unbeaten Mattanawcook Academy (Class C).

The winners will be announced at the annual Maine Association of Basketball Coaches banquet and all-star weekend, scheduled for March 6-7.
