Karen Irene Deuso

GARDINER – Karen passed away Feb. 13, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones after a brief battle with cancer.

Karen was born April 26, 1950, in Gardiner, Maine, to Shirley Sutherburg and Irene Trimback.

She is survived by her four children, Gregory MacMaster and his wife Honey of Winthrop, and their five children, James, CJ., Katelynn, Autumn, Gregory; Melissa Pease and her husband Lester of Palermo, and their four children, Aaron, Lucas, Jacob, and Greg P.; Sherylin St. Onge and her husband Norman of New Hampshire, and their two children Courtney and Emily; Amy Smith and her husband Donnie of Homosassa, Fla. and their four children, Nathaniel, Tyler, Robbie and Mallory; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Karen was predeceased by her father Shirley Sutherburg, her mother Irene Trimback; her sister Lana Williams; and her grandson Aaron Miller.

She loved her family, especially her great grandchildren; her favorite pass time was spending time with her great-grandchildren. Karen was an adventurer at heart a true blue “Flower Child” She will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Hermit Island, Maine. To be announced at a later date.
