Bertha M. Wiggins
AUGUSTA – Bertha M. Wiggins, 84, passed away peacefully on Feb. 21, 2026, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was surrounded with love and support from family.
She was born on Sept. 7, 1941, in Jacksonville, N.C., the daughter of Clayton and Mary (Collins) Kellum of N.C. On June 8, 1957, she married the love of her life, William (Bill) Wiggins. They had for children and built a beautiful life together. The family moved to Winslow, Maine in 1966, where they chose to reside.

There will be a service on March 5, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Veilleux Funeral Home in Waterville, Maine.
