Lorraine Barbara Ferguson

AUGUSTA – Lorraine Barbara Ferguson, 85, of Augusta, Maine, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, while in Florida visiting loved ones. She was born on Sept. 15, 1940, in Gardiner, daughter of Lloyd and Phyllis (Crocker) Hubbard.

Lorraine was a hardworking and dedicated woman who spent her working years in service to the State of Maine – AMHI as a housekeeper. Her commitment to her job was admirable, and her work ethic was something that those around her greatly appreciated.

Upon retirement, she found joy in simple pleasures, such as going on motorcycle rides and dancing. But what mattered most to Lorraine was her family. Her love and dedication towards her family were unparalleled, and she left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

Lorraine is survived by her loving daughter, Cassandra Tondreau and husband Dale; grandson Dillon Tondreau, and her niece Tina Gowell.

She joins in eternity her parents, Lloyd Hubbard and Phyllis Crocker.

Her life and love have left a remarkable impact on those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, let not your heat be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
