The Maine Celtics will open the NBA G League playoffs Tuesday night on the road against the Greensboro Swarm.
Second-seeded Greensboro will host seventh-seeded Maine at 6:30 p.m. in Greensboro, North Carolina. Maine won its final three games of the regular season to finish 18-18. Greensboro was 24-12.
The top eight teams in each conference qualified for the playoffs and will face off in a single-elimination tournament. The conference champions will meet in the best-of-three G League finals.
Greensboro won three of its four games against Maine this season. The Celtics’ win came Jan. 25 at the Portland Expo, a 147-138 victory.
The winner will face No. 3 Cleveland or No. 6 Capital City in the conference semifinals Friday night.
