Ahbram Liendo hit an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Portland Sea Dogs a 3-2 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in an Eastern League game on Thursday at Hadlock Field in Portland.
Nelly Taylor doubled to lead off the ninth for the Sea Dogs. After a walk to Will Turner, Drew Ehrhard bunted the runners to second and third. New Hampshire intentionally walked Franklin Arias to load the bases and Liendo lined a single to left to end it.
Nate Baez hit an RBI single in the first and Ehrhard had a two-run home run in the third as Portland jumped out to a 3-0 lead. New Hampshire scored single runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh to tie it.
Eduardo Rivera started for Portland (2-3) and allowed a run on three hits in 4 1/3 innings. He struck out seven and walked one.
