HOSCHTON, Ga. – Janet Leigh Radsky (Soucie), 71, passed away peacefully at her home at The Phoenix, Hoschton, Ga., on Sept. 15, 2025. She was born in Biloxi, Miss., on March 11, 1954, to Norman Leo Soucie Sr. and Ruth Carolyn Soucie (Mosley).
Her husband, the love of her life, Thomas S Radsky, preceded her in death.
Janet graduated from Cony High School and the University of Southern Maine with a four-year degree in nursing. Janet had a long, successful career as a head nurse at Mid Maine Medical and Togus Veterans Hospital.
Janet is survived by her son Robert James Radsky (Monica) of Frederick, Md., her daughter, Shannon Marie Radsky of Nairobi, Kenya; siblings Norman Leo Soucie Jr. (Lisa) of Cartersville, Ga., Christina Marie Soucie of Smyrna, Ga., and Stephen E Soucie (Susan) of Flowery Branch, Ga., and several nieces and nephews in Georgia and several cousins in Maine.
An inurnment will be in Augusta at a later date.
