High school sports coverage is proudly supported by Maine State Credit Union.
Harry Holmstrom, Maine Central Institute senior: A Central Maine All-Region selection a year ago, Holmstrom will be the top singles player for a team that reached the Class C South finallast season. A four-year starter, he entered the season with a 30-13 record.
Brady Peacock, Gardiner senior: A Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B second-team pick and Central Maine All-Region selection a year ago, Peacock reached the first round of the singles state tournament before falling to Alex Gordon of Yarmouth. He should be among the area’s top singles players again.
Colby Tardif, Waterville senior: A KVAC Class B first-team and Central Maine All-Region pick a season ago, Tardif is the top returning singles player for a young squad that has significant depth. He should be a steady hand for the team.
Trevor Tardif, Waterville senior: A past KVAC Class B selection as a doubles player, Tardif will add skill and experience while playing singles this spring. He adds another veteran voice to help lead a young squad.
Francesco Tumsich, Maine Central Institute senior: A transfer student from Italy, Tumsich has already made an impact for the Huskies and may be the added ingredient the team needs to go farther in the Class C playoffs.
