Last fall, a few sentences on the radio caught my attention: We, as a community, have more in common than we have differences. We all want basically the same things: an income that we can live on, a good education and secure future for our children, a clean and healthy place to live.

With all the divisiveness that had become routine in our current political system, Shenna Bellows’ uniquely inclusive words were like a breath of fresh air.

Every idea, Shenna expresses reflected her integrity and deep commitment to doing what is right for Maine’s people. I was stunned by Bellows’ vast knowledge, quick mind, impressive experience, energy and intelligence.

Rarely, in my lifetime, has either major political party given us the opportunity to vote for such a qualified and extraordinary candidate.
