According to the Congressional Budget Office, this war Trump started is costing us $1 billion a day. Where is all of this money coming from?
We are told that Social Security will run out of funds in 2032. Every day, Americans die because they can’t afford insurance, 48 million American families live in poverty, 1 in 5 American children go to bed hungry every night, and America’s infrastructure is in dire need of repair. Yet, we seem to have trillions of dollars for war.
It seems Republicans never have enough money to support our social programs, but there’s plenty of money for killing, for war.
In Trump’s first term, he ended the agreement President Obama and our allies had with Iran, to the dismay of our allies, the U.N., and yes, Iran. So, here we are now, asking for exactly what we had back then.
As the powers of Trump and his Republican enablers increase, rest assured, we will see the end of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, welfare, unemployment and the GI Bill. Affordable health care is already gone, as the Trump family prospers. A Republican vote, at any level, is a vote for Trump and against democracy. Today’s Republicans are not the GOP I remember.
