A St. Albans woman was arrested Tuesday by the Office of State Fire Marshal and charged with arson and domestic violence assault in connection with an April 17 fire.

Lisa Hall, 61, is being held on $10,000 bail at the Penobscot County Jail, Shannon Moss, the public information officer for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said in a Wednesday news release.

St. Albans fire crews called the fire marshal’s office to the scene of a blaze on Grant Road the morning of April 17, where, after several interviews, investigators determined the cause of the fire was intentional.

Earlier that morning, before the fire began, investigators learned, Hall had allegedly assaulted her husband at their home.

Hall was arrested Tuesday on a warrant in Bangor, Moss said.
