Franklin Arias and Brooks Brannon each had four hits, and top pitching prospect Anthony Eyanson allowed three hits in four innings as the Portland Sea Dogs defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 12-4 in their series finale Sunday at Hadlock Field.
Brannon homered and drove in five runs for Portland (14-18), while Arias and Nate Baez scored three runs. Baez added a two-run double that highlighted the Sea Dogs’ five-run sixth inning.
Eyanson, making his rain-delayed first start for the Sea Dogs, struck out four batters and allowed one run, a solo homer by New Hampshire’s Victor Arias.
Portland reliever Jedixson Paez (1-1) allowed four hits and three runs over three innings to earn the victory.
Jace Bohrofen had two hits, including a home run, for the Fisher Cats (19-11).
