MADISON – Yvonne Mary Ann Comeau Lessard, 87, of Madison, passed away on May 7, 2026, at Maplecrest Living Center in Madison.
Yvonne was born on Dec. 24, 1938, in Madison, the eleventh child of Adolphe and Apolline (Allain) Comeau. She attended the Madison schools.
She worked at Solon Manufacturing as well as Norwalk Shoe for many years.
Yvonne married Ernest Lessard on May 13, 1989, they were married for six months before he sadly passed away.
She was predeceased by both parents; brothers, Alyre, Dan, Ted and Alfred; sisters, Florida Comeau, Lorrenza Boone, Viola Palmer, Alma Bagley, Pauline Dore and Joanne Kennedy.
Yvonne is survived by two sisters, Alice Breingan and Donna Bouchard; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on June 1, 2026, at 2 p.m., in St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Madison. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery.
