Franklin Arias, Will Turner and Johanfran Garcia homered Wednesday as the Portland Sea Dogs’ hot streak continued with a 6-2 victory against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at Binghamton, New York.
Raudelis Martinez went 2 for 3 with a double and drove in two runs for the Sea Dogs (24-22), who have won seven of their last eight games, including the first two of this six-game series against the Rumble Ponies (16-31).
Starter Blake Wehunt (2-2) was the winner, allowing two runs on three hits, a walk and eight strikeouts through six innings.
Portland hit multiple home runs for the 17th time this season.
