As a retired veteran living in Harpswell, I know what it means to live on a fixed income in a state where costs keep climbing faster than many workers and retirees can keep up with.
That’s why Jonathan Bush’s campaign for governor captured my attention. He’s the right candidate to fix the problems that are overwhelming Maine taxpayers. Senior citizens are now struggling just to stay in their homes. Young workers continue to leave for better opportunities elsewhere. They simply cannot afford to live here.
Bush will lower taxes by creating an environment where businesses want to locate and grow. Maine then becomes less dependent on taxing retirees, workers and homeowners. That is the path to long-term relief. He offers a pro-growth, pro-taxpayer vision centered on increasing economic opportunity, government spending restraint and reducing taxes.
Jonathan Bush’s vision deserves our serious consideration.
