The Press Herald has apparently decided to perform a public service by publishing a detailed account of Graham Platner’s “controversies” since he announced his candidacy for the Senate seat now held by Susan Collins.
I look forward to seeing, in the interest of full disclosure, a similar recounting of all Sen. Collins’ votes for nominees for the Supreme Court and for President Trump’s Cabinet, as well as for the administration’s major appropriations bills, along with her supporting comments for each.
We, the voters, are entitled to equal information from this newspaper about these candidates.
