If people did not continue to ask me certain questions, I wouldn’t feel the need to respond to them. One such question: How can so many good Christians continue to support Trump?
I suggest one answer may come from one believer, when asked about an article of his faith, explaining, “It’s what we hope for.”
Thinking about this over the years led me to ask whether faith equals hope. In the relationship between Trump and Christians, might their faith in him be a persistent hope that he will fulfill their faith in him? It’s something to think about.
Another persistent question is: Who does Maine Sen. Susan Collins represent?
For sure, the workers at Bath Iron Works. Collins has profited from her political position. What of the electorate? I have come to suspect she’s either very naive or very clever in covering up her loyalty to fulfilling the president’s many fantasies. Either way, she’s incapable of the job she’s in.
