Michael Stephen Lerette
AUGUSTA – Michael Stephen Lerette, 48, of Augusta, Maine, passed away on July 11, 2026, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, with his family by his side after a long illness. Born on June 30, 1978, in Augusta, he was the son of Jean L. Davenport and Timothy M. Lerette.
Mike graduated from Hall-Dale High School and worked as an Equipment Operator at NRF Distributors for the past 11 years. He will be remembered for his love of music, his family, the outdoors, fishing, bike riding, snowmobiling, and, above all, for the love he had for his children and for being the best son, brother, and father anyone could ask for.
He is survived by his children, Brady and Emma Lerette; his brothers, Anthony Lerette and Kevin Rollins, his sisters, Abigail Wright and Kelly Cooper, and all of their families; his aunts, Joan and Debbie Morgan, and his uncle, Stephen Lerette.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Clyde Morgan, Louise Perkins, Roy Perkins, Peggy and Richard Lerette; and his stepfathers, Merlin Rollins and Donald Davenport.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Manchester Community Church on August 8, 2026, at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow.
Mike lived life with a bright spirit that will never be forgotten. We encourage everyone to wear bright colors or tie-dye as a celebration of the light and happiness he shared with others.
