LITCHFIELD — A free Thanksgiving dinner will be held at 1 p.m. Thanksgiving Day at Litchfield Sportsmen’s Club, Hallowell Road. Doors open at noon. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert. Turkey, potatoes, gravy and beverages will be provided. The remainder of the meal is made up of side dishes and desserts provided by the attendees.

2014 will mark the fifth year Thanksgiving dinner has been served at the LSC according to a press release from American Towns Press Services.

An RSVP is not needed and there is no sign up for food. Just show up with a Thanksgiving dish/dessert.

A music jam will follow dinner. Musicians are invited bring their voices and instruments.
