JACKMAN — Forest Hills High School recently announced in a news release its debate team completed in its second meet in the Western Class D debate team competition against Greenville on Tuesday, Dec. 2.

The top three scorers for Forest Hills (earning a combined score of 383), were Patricia Lessard, Madison Cuddy and Elise McKendry. Those who placed in the top three for Greenville’s team (with a combined score of 391) were Trajdan MacFadyen, Keegan Cannell and Connor DiAngelo and Kenzie Redimaker, tied.

The resolution: A government’s obligation to protect the environment ought to take precedence over its obligation to promote economic development.
