Hi. My name is Ryver. I am 7 years old. I am writing you this letter because it makes me sad to think of wild animals being kept as pets.
Most people don’t know how to take care of them, and it can make the animals sick. Some animals don’t survive. Being kept in captivity makes the animals sad. People can get hurt by the animals.
I live in California. Here there are laws protecting wild animals from being kept as pets. My goal is to get the laws changed in other states so that all wild animals can be free.
Please help the animals by changing the laws.
