SACO — Maine State Police arrested a Saco man Wednesday in connection with an antiques burglary last week at a home in Hollis.

Cory Richards, 31, allegedly broke into a home on Old Alfred Road on Friday and stole more than $10,000 worth of antique jewelry and coins.

Trooper Kyle Wells and Trooper Recruit Michael Lane arrested Richards and charged him with the Class B crime of burglary. With assistance from the Biddeford Police Department, investigators recovered most of the stolen jewelry.

At the time of his arrest, Richards was on probation for a robbery conviction. Richards was being held Wednesday night at York County Jail in Alfred on $10,000 cash bail.
