The Red Barn Cares Foundation in Augusta held a fundraising event Feb. 3 for Cony Middle School and Cony High School Project Graduation, according to a news release from the foundation. With the help of the Red Barn Cares Foundation, the schools raised more than $2,000 for their causes.

In conjunction with the fundraiser, Darling’s Chrysler Dodge Ram Hyundai donated $1,000, a portion of the total raised, to these schools. Darling’s also presented the Foundation with a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. The organization will use the van to transport food to people who are unable to get out for a hot meal and for those who may need a ride to the restaurant when the Red Barn provides their free meal for those in need, according to the release.
