BUDGET: $602,586 appropriated from taxes, $20,000 taken from the general fund to reduce taxes

MAJOR ITEMS APPROVED: culvert replacement on the Bafford Road, up to $65,000

MAJOR ITEMS REJECTED: amendments to the Shoreland Zoning Ordinance, which will go back to special town meeting with small wording changes.

ATTENDANCE: 21 business meeting attendees, 191 voters.

CONTESTED ELECTION RESULTS: Road commissioner: Roger Huff, 100 votes; R. Charles King, 91. Selectman: Stuart Huff, 132; Brent Chase, 52.
