AUGUSTA — Bread of Life Ministries will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at its new administrative office space, next door to the soup kitchen on the first floor of 159 Water St.
The not-for-profit charitable organization received a donation at the end of 2014 that paid for the full renovation of the first floor, according to a news release from the organization.
Carolyn Neighoff, Bread of Life Ministries founder, and Kandyce Powell, Bread of Life Ministries board member and executive director of the Maine Hospice Council, will speak and participate in the ceremony.
Bread of Life purchased the building at 159 Water St., right next to the soup kitchen more than two years ago with a plan to move the administrative offices from its previous location above the soup kitchen to the ground floor of 159 Water St.
