FARMINGDALE — Farmingdale Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at Bud and Barbara Smith’s home, 206 Northern Ave.

Recently elected officers are Coral Garrison, secretary; Barbara Smith, vice president; Sandy Choate, president and treasurer; and historians Loring Smith, Delores Burgess, Joan Hayen and Richard Harriman.

The group welcomes and encourages residents to come and learn about the town’s history.

Also, society members are searching for town reports for 1942, 1948, 1959 and 1972 to complete the collection.
