After reading the opinions printed in the news media of late, I’ve came up with the top 10 reasons I must be a racist. I believe:
1. Our country’s very existence is in question if we don’t control the border.
2. All lives should matter, not only black lives matter.
3. Receiving Syrian refugees while at war in the Middle East is foolish and endangers us all.
4. Tradition has a value in society and because many people oppose changing the name of the Skowhegan Indians it doesn’t mean they’re racist.
5. A quality president in the White House and wouldn’t consider skin color as a reason to vote for someone.
6. There are too many leaders in the black community who use race as a means to an end to enrich themselves to the detriment of the country.
7. There is too much black-on-black crime.
8. If I was modestly wealthy I wouldn’t invest my dollars and time in a black community after watching the riots on television.
9. There are just as many bigots of other races who hate the white race, as there are whites who are also prejudiced.
10. Martin Luther King was a great leader and would have been proud to have seen the nation elect the first black president and also ashamed that Barack Hussein Obama has continued to divided the races with his rhetoric.
