ATHENS — Nomination papers for the March 11 Municipal Election are available at the Town Office. Office hours are 2-6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays.

Positions open for 2016 include: first selectman, assessor and overseer for the poor, two-year term; road commissioner, one-year term; treasurer, two-year term; Athens Municipal School Board director, three-year term; and Athens Municipal School Board director, three-year term.

Papers must be returned by Monday, Jan. 25.
