At last Donald Trump said something I agree with concerning Saddam Hussein, the late ruler of Iraq. The big lie and childish action of Bush Junior having a hissy fit because Saddam got angry and issued a death threat to Bush Senior was the real reason for destroying Iraq.

After that disaster I called into the now-canceled TV talk show hosted by Charlie Horne called “So Goes the Nation” on WFVX. I told him Iraq was better off when Saddam was in power. He kept peace between the tribes, albeit with a heavy hand. Iraq was a peaceful, stable country then.

Charlie went ballistic and thought I was crazy. Wonder what he thinks of Iraq now.
