AUGUSTA — The Maine Central Institute and Oak Hill field hockey teams are no strangers to each other, as they met for the Class C state title last season in Orono.

Saturday at McMann Field in Bath, the Huskies (15-2) and Raiders (16-1) will meet again in state game Round 2. The game is set for 11 a.m.

The Maine Principals’ Association announced the starting times for the three field hockey state championship games Thursday morning.

Skowhegan (13-3-1) will try to win its 14th state title in 16 years when it meets upstart Massabesic (13-3-1) at 3 p.m. The Indians entered the Class A North playoffs as the No. 4 seed but upended No. 5 Oxford Hills, No.1 Mt. Blue and No. 2 Messalonskee en route to the regional title.

Massabesic emerged from the A South field as the No. 5 seed.

Belfast (16-1) and York (17-0) will play for the Class B title at 1 p.m.
