PITTSFIELD — The Pittsfield Public Library announces the following summer events:
* The library is offering free Sea Dogs tickets for all summer reading participants.
* The L.C. Bates Museum will present Fascinating Fossils at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at in the Warren Community room. Participants can learn how fossils form and have an opportunity to examine the museum’s fossil collection, including Maine State fossils and dinosaur fossils. This family program is for all ages; preregistration is required. Call 487-5880 to register or for more information.
