A crash on I-295 in Yarmouth that caused significant delays Wednesday morning has been cleared, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.

The crash was reported at mile 16 southbound before 8:30 a.m, Traffic was reduced to one lane with vehicles backed up for two miles.

The accident involved damage to two vehicles but no injuries, according to Maine State Police in Gray, who responded to the scene.
