BOOTHBAY — Alec Byron hit two free throws with 0.4 seconds remaining to give the Hall-Dale boys basketball team a 50-48 win over Boothbay on Monday night.
Jett Boyer led the Bulldogs (6-2) with 12 points. Tyler Nadeau added 11 points, while Byron chipped in with eight points for Hall-Dale.
Eli Gudroe led the Seahawks (5-4) with nine points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
TEMPLE 66, HYDE 26: Kiara Carr scored a game-high 17 points and hauled in 11 rebounds to lead the Bereans to the Class D win in Bath.
Veronica Rossignol added 12 points while Selam Heinrich had 10 points for Temple (7-1). Daphne Labbe grabbed 10 rebounds.
Hyde (1-3) was led by Emma Levensohn with 12 points.
