WINSLOW — Bryce Hillier scored seven goals to lead the Winslow boys lacrosse team to a 14-11 win over Morse in a Class B preliminary round game Monday.
Evan Dart had four goals and two assists for the Black Raiders (6-7), while Colby Nadeau added two goals. Isaac Lambrecht had a goal, while Sam Lambrecht had four assists.
The Black Raiders will face Gardiner in the quarterfinal round on Wednesday.
Declan Hall led the Shipbuilders (4-9) with four goals and two assists.
WINTHROP/MARANACOOK 18, LINCOLN 5: Drew Davis scored five goals and won each of his faceoffs, helping the Hawks (6-7) knock off the Eagles (4-9) in the first round of the Class B North tournament.
Garit Laliberte had three goals and Alex Nuce had a goal and three assists for M/W, which played Lincoln to a 2-2 tie after the first quarter before erupting in the second for a 9-3 halftime lead. Skyler Boucher had two goals, while Jack Vickerson (a leader in the Hawks’ defense and midfield), Dominic Ferguson, Bailey Stockford, Owen Austin and Zach Davidson had one goal apiece. Ferguson’s goal was the first of his varsity career.
GIRLS LACROSSE
WINSLOW 6, ERSKINE 5: Silver Clukey scored four goals to lead the Black Raiders to a Class B preliminary game win over the Eagles in Winslow.
Alyssa Currie and Savannah Joler each added goals for Winslow (7-6). The Black Raiders will face Yarmouth in the quarterfinal round on Wednesday.
Audrey Jordan scored two goals for Erskine (5-8), while Keely Gomes, Jamie Boudreau and Ella Johnson each added goals for the Eagles.
