President Donald Trump advocates authoritarianism. If allowed he would change our government, ignoring our Constitution. He admires leaders like Russia’s Putin, Turkey’s Erdogan, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman, and even our military’s generals and corporate CEOs. Trump sees our Congress as an impediment and our news media as an enemy.
Trump fails to recognize that these autocratic leaders are playing him, utilizing his weakness of wanting to be close to them. They simply need to give him a little praise to inflate his ego, and like a child he imagines himself one of them.
