PORTLAND — Alyssa Jade Smith, of Madison, received her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene on May 20 from the University of New England Westbrook College of Health Professions. Commencement ceremonies were held at the Cross Insurance Arena.

Smith is the daughter of Brandi and Joseph Smith.

On the previous day, the graduates participated in an undergraduate pinning and awards ceremony at the arena.
