Firefighters from several towns were called in late Monday night to help fight a structure fire that broke out in Pownal.

An emergency dispatcher for the Brunswick communications center confirmed that there was a barn fire at 155 Chadsey Road.

Mutual aid was requested from Freeport, North Yarmouth and New Gloucester. The fire was reported at 10:55 p.m. No other details were available late Monday night.
